The seaside town of Hornsea readies itself for the Spring, Summer and Autumn of 2024 with some new artists and exhibitions from some nationally established artists.
An exhibition by renowned artist John Sprakes is in planning and indeed John’s works have proved popular with visitors to the gallery.
In addition to the 2D art work by local artists the gallery now has ceramics which are also proving popular, and it is easy to see why.
In addition to ceramics there is a range of glassworks in the gallery, consisting of plates and conversation pieces.
Of course the Gallery is renowned for its eclectic collection of paintings of the local landscape by local artists.
Peter Robinson’s locally inspired watercolours are always in demand and he is a very busy artist.
Fresh from his recent and much praised exhibition at Burton Constable Hall, the evergreen Phil Hargreaves has a series of works on offer, all inspired by his love of our beautiful landscape, coastline and fauna.
Tom Wood brings to the Gallery his pictures of creatures various, painted in his own distinctive style.
A new artist in the Gallery is Susan Beaulah, whose works feature townscapes with lively colours.
Pam Williams’ watercolours have proved popular with visitors and her work is in steady demand.

The Gallery stands in the centre of Hornsea, at no 8 Market Place, and can be part of your next visit to this pleasant seaside town. As the weather looks up we are seeing more visitors, and we have some good exhibitions planned. So expect more good things.
