I am a British neo-surrealist and mystical painter painting in traditional oil paints on canvas. My paintings are based on the spirituality drawn from the history and culture around me but are imbued with a modern sensibility. I try to make them as beautiful as possible to bring some colour and enchantment to the viewer's experience.

My online contemporary art gallery has been on the Internet since 1996 and has won several awards. I hope you enjoy my original oil paintings, acrylic paintings and prints.

I have been oil painting since my youth, inspired by pop art, modern art, street art and the great masters. Some of these works hang in private art collections and some have been exhibited in art galleries and exhibitions in a diverse range of places such as Beverley Minster, Hull Ferens Gallery and many regional exhibitions.

The subject matter of these paintings is drawn from the many beautiful places in the United Kingdom which are dear to me.

I am always available for commissions when requested but do remember my location in northern England.

Recently I placed a picture in the Hanseatic Gold Art Exhibition in Riga, Latvia and was flattered to see it used in the opening ceremony and concert. Here is the opening ceremony with my picture at the right in the background.
