Beverley Open Studios is always a fun time for art lovers in East Yorkshire and 2024 was no different. Artists showed a variety of work.
There are at least two well established mural painters in the Beverley area and they both showed work at East Riding Theatre as part of Open Studios.
Some great paintings by Emma Garness showed her versatility as an artist.
Katy Cobb painted some typical pictures which illustrate her sympathetic way with nature. The use of reclaimed wood gives the works extra aesthetic appeal and texture.
Meanwhile in the Eastgate Print Studio there was a variety of works by local printmakers, showing that relief printing and indeed other forms of printmaking are still very much alive.
Beverley Open Studios adds tremendously to the cultural life of the town and indeed East Yorkshire as a whole, so watch out for these great artists at the various art shows in the county.
