An exhibition by the Hull Print Collective is always worth a look. The 2025 exhibition at Burton Constable Hall is no exception. The exhibition is in the Stables Gallery and is open from 10am to 4pm. The exhibition is on until the 4th of February.
The Hull Print Collective is a group of artists who work in printmaking. There are many very experienced artists in the group which has been exhibiting regularly for a number of years. The group has a wide range of styles and techniques, so there is always something new to see, from more abstract and experimental work to outstanding traditional prints such as nature and wildlife.
Forgive the reflections on some of my photographs. The prints are behind glass and it is difficult to avoid reflections. The prints are much more impressive in real life.
After the exhibition, you can take a walk around the grounds of Burton Constable Hall. The grounds are extensive and there are many interesting features to see. The hall itself is closed during the winter months, but the grounds and gift shop are open.
The cafe at Burton Constable Hall is open from 10am to 4pm. It is a good place to have a coffee or a light lunch. The cafe is in the stable block and has a good selection of cakes and sandwiches.
