I painted this years ago - a Derbyshire stone wall with a pine forest in the background.

The stone walls of Derbyshire help to give the county its charm and character, adding to the beauty of the landscape. This makes Derbyshire a very popular place for tourism as anyone who lives there can tell you. On any summer weekend there are places where it is busier than London with tourists and cars.

Fortunately I managed to find this quiet place away from it all.
