As we head into a new age people will find that they have more and more leisure time. They may also find that the advance of computers and technology means that more and more their working lives fit into routines and frameworks determined by computers and AI.

Therefore you need a way of expressing your creativity, of being who you are, of harmlessly stamping YOU on the world!

So - let's learn to paint!

Steps in learning to paint

• Look around in your local community for art lessons - local artists or art societies often organise them.
• Find and join a local art society - experienced members can usually help you to avoid early mistakes.
• Think about what sort of art you want to make - what inspires you? Here is some advice.
